In 2005, USAirport Parking installed Global Positioning System (GPS)
equipment in our buses. Our dispatchers can "see" the
entire bus fleet in real time superimposed on a map of USAirport Parking,
the DIA terminal, and relevant roadways. The dispatchers can
"click" on a bus for speed and direction. By efficiently controlling
our fleet of 22 buses, we can ensure short wait times and the most reliable
service possible!
Here's what our dispatchers see (close up of USAirport Parking,
with Bus #16 entering the lot for drop off, and #21 leaving the
shop to come into service):

At any time, our dispatcher can click on the bus symbol on the screen, and
receive a status report which looks like:
The buses update their status approximately every 20 seconds.
